Deal reached for Fenerbahce's van der Wiel: he will arrive in Cagliari on Monday

Cagliari is now moving forward on their addition of Fenerbahce defender Gregor van der Wiel. Agreements have been reached with both the club and the player, and on Monday van der Wiel will arrive in Sardinia for his medicals and to sign a new contract with Cagliari. Joining on a paid loan move, the Dutch defender will add to coach Massimo Rastelli's defense for the new season.
