CONI, Malagò: "Tavecchio thinks it's the right thing to stay on. Responding to Ulivieri is not my style"

After the FIGC meeting, the President of Italian Managers' Association Renzo Ulvieri decalred that CONI President Giovanni Malagò "behaved in an inappropriate manner" and "doesn't recognize him as a leader. Malagò responded: "Ulivieri? He is free to think how he wants. It is not my style to create problems, but to reason in an elegant manner."

He also commented on Ventura and Tavecchio: "Ventura sacked? This is evaluation that was made by the FIGC and it was their choice. He is not the first and won't be the last manager to be sacked. Tavecchio? He has decided to do things differently than I would, but I am not annoyed that he didn't listen to me. He thought it was the right thing to stay on. The Federation has to take responsibility to confirm their confidence in Tavecchio. It is their choice."
