Claudio Ranieri selected for 2016 Coach of the Year award: "I didn't expect it"
Claudio Ranieri is the recipient of another honor, today being named in the BBC Sports Personality awards as the 2016 Coach of the Year. Ranieri and Leicester's triumph in the Premier League last season was a story that attracted the Roman coach worldwide admiration and legendary status in England. Ranieri commented on the occasion: "I didn't expect it, I'm honest, it's fantastic to be awarded this prize in England. I have to give thanks to all my players, the president, and my staff. And the fans, without whom our title would have been impossible."
