Chievo, Pellissier: "Ventura teaches football. I'll keep playing as long as I can"

With the goal scored against Milan, Chievo striker Sergio Pellissier has reached the mark of 109 goal scored in Serie A with the Gialloblu in eleven seasons. Despite being almost 40, the captain has no desire to hang up his boots yet: "I like to think that I will keep going as long as I'm feeling well and as long as I can keep up with my teammates and the opponents", Pellissier told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The striker commented the managerial change at the club, with Giampiero Ventura taking over the job from D'Anna: "Ventura teaches football, he did it troughout his whole career. We must not think to the problems he had with Italy, he did well wherever he coached. Becoming coach in the future? I have a strong character, in football you have to adapt most of the times and I don't think I could do it. Stepinski? He needed someone that helped him understand Italian football tactics".
