Chelsea, Morata "I would have never left Italy. Conte brings out the best in his players"

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata still has Italy and Juventus close to his heart. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport he said that he “spent two amazing seasons in Italy. I went there as a youngster and left as a real player. For a Spaniard Italy is the best place to live, there is everything: history, art, good food, fashion. I would have never left Italy and Juve. The Bianconeri have a trademark: a winning mentality and a strong work ethic”.

The coach who wanted him at Juve is the same who wanted him this season at Chelsea: Antonio Conte. About his first months in England and his coach he said: “I settled quickly to England and the Premier League thanks to many factors. First of all, the boss: I already knew Conte and his football philosophy. Secondly, my teammates, they gave me an amazing welcome. Conte is demanding but he brings out the best in his players. You can tell he has been in a big club as a player and as a manager”.

Tomorrow Morata will go back to Italy to play in the Champions League match against Roma. About the Giallorossi he said: “They impressed me at Stamford Bridge. They deserved to with, they caused us some problems in the first match. I think they are better than Atletico Madrid”.
