The Brazilian striker has given a long interview to the Daily Mail and has told a lot about Conte: "What is happening right now with Chelsea is sad, I understand a coach wants other players but there are ways to do so. Legal action? At the moment, no. I want everyone to act in the right way. I was pissed off, I'm now calmer. I've never deleted the text message Conte sent me. If someone accuses me of lying I can show it. Conte has been clear telling me he didn't count on me anymore and wishing me the best for the future".

Diego Costa, who's been linked to Milan, has been clear on his future: "My wish is now to go to Atlético. I've spoken with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia, I've told her I want to turn back to Spain, I've refused other offers. Diego Simeone wants me, I've always had a great bound with him plus fans and people there like me. They respect me".

Diego Costa doesn't hold grudges for his substitute: "Alvaro Morata is a great player. He had an amazing season at Madrid and with the current prices in the transfer window, I think Chelsea bought him for a fair price as he's a young and gifted forward. He'll get a lot of success with Chelsea".
