Cagliari target Goldaniga to bolster defense

After tonight's draw against Torino, Cagliari surpassed Salernitana in the standings but still find themselves deep in the relegation zone. The Sardinian club are looking to bring in a defender in January that would allow Mazzarri to employ a three center back defense.

 Cagliari have targeted Edoardo Goldaniga who is currently at Sassuolo. Last summer the neroverdi had offered him to other teams and so far this season he has just appeared in one match against his former team.
