Cagliari make inquiry with Roma for Under: the situation

After sounding out Inter's Godin for the defence and landing the loan of winger Riccardo Sottil, Cagliari are looking to raise the bar even higher with the pursuit of Roma's Cengiz Under.

The chances of completing the deal however appears quite slim, with manager Eusebio Di Francesco eager to rejoin with the winger whom he already worked with at Roma.

On the Godin front, the Sardinians are still trying to find a solution to solve the issue regarding the player's wages - 5 million per year after tax until 2022 - wait for the Uruguayan decision over a move to Cagliari. Should Godin agree to join the Rossoblu, then the clubs will have to reach an agreement to complete the transfer.
