Cagliari, Godin set to arrive on Wednesday: deal not tied to Nainggolan

Eusebio Di Francesco is ready to welcome a significant addition to his defense. After taking his medical in Rome on Monday, Diego Godin is set to arrive in Sardegna on Wednesday to join his new teammates, the deal has been reached with Inter, now the agents are set to give their approval.

Cagliari president Giulini will also try to bring back Radja Nainggolan, but there are no confirmations on the recent rumors of a joint deal involving Godin, the Belgian international's potential return will have to be negotiated separately.
