Borussia Dortmund sack coach Favre: Gladbach coach Rose set to take over in 2021

After a heavy defeat at home to Stuttgart this weekend, Borussia Dortmund has decided to sack coach Lucien Favre. The rumors that circulated through newspaper Bild have borne true. The interim boss will be assistant Edin Terzic, he will be joined by the current staff as the new coach for Wednesday's match against Werder Bremen.

The next decision by Dortmund will be naming a full-time successor. Current Borussia Monchengladbach coach Marco Rose will apparently take over: there is an agreement in principle between the sides for June 2021.
