Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal targeting defender Diallo from Mainz

There is activity in the transfer market in Germany, and Borussia Dortmund, fresh off their hire of coach Lucien Favre, are trying to secure new players for next season. The objective for their defense is 1996-born Abdou Diallo from Mainz (who appeared in 27 matches in the Bundesliga this season, scoring twice). His possible arrival would depend on the future of Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who is a definite target for Arsenal.
