Bayern to sign Croatian wonderkid, Ljubo Puljic from NK Osijek: details

After winning the Bundesliga title over Borussia Dortmund at the last game of the season, Bayern Munich are now set to move their first steps on the market. The vision is clear: the Bavarians want to build their future, starting off with some young gems that will join the club's youth sector. That is why, Bayern have sealed a deal for Croatian centre-back, Ljubo Puljic from NK Osijek.

2007-born, Puljic will turn 16 tomorrow (May 31st) and will be unveiled as a new player of the German side in the coming hours. The agreement has been reached in full: Bayern are set to pay around 2.8 million euro to Osijek, in order to beat other top European teams involved in the Puljic-race, such as Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.

Puljic is rated very highly, as he's considered one of the potential future defenders of Croatian National Team, alongside Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split. Bayern secured this great deal after Puljic's path at the Euro U17 group-stage ended, failing to qualify for the quarter finals but still scoring a goal, against the Netherlands.
