Bale:”I never had any problems with Cristiano Ronaldo”

He was supposed to be Real Madrid’s key player after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, but so far Garity Bale hasn’t been able to live up to these lofty expectations. The Welsh striker responded to the recent rumors of a difficult relationship with Ronaldo in an interview with BT Sport:”Cristiano is an incredible player, we never had problems and is a player I like him a lot. Often newspapers tried to blow up a problem that in reality never existed. Him and I always got along. Ronaldo is still an incredible player”

Bale described what it was like to join the Galacticos:”When Real Madrid called me, I realized it was impossible to turn down a club like that. I loved Tottenham and I still have a bond with the club, but I didn’t want to live with the regret of not joining Real Madrid”.
