Man United join Chelsea in the race for Barcelona's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Manchester United have made a fresh approach for Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. 

The Red Devils have identified Aubameyang as a potential striker target, as they look to bolster their attack before the window shuts on Thursday. 

Premier League rivals Chelsea have been pushing for the signature of the 33-year-old striker in recent days, but have not yet reached an agreement with Barcelona.

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel is seen as the main driving factor in the deal, who is determined to be reunited with the 33-year-old, where the pair enjoyed a successful time together at Borussia Dortmund.
