Atletico Madrid agree to transfer fee for De Paul: €35 million to Udinese

Rodrigo De Paul is steps away from becoming an Atletico Madrid player. Los colchoneros have been in talks with Udinese dating back several weeks and have been making the definitive strides in past days.

The clubs are in agreement, Udinese will receive a fee around €35 million, €3 million under their initial asking price. No other counterpieces are being included in this deal.

Only the player's contract with Atletico is remaining. De Paul is currently in Argentina's squad participating in Copa America. But as events proceed he will next wear the Spanish champions' shirt.

De Paul spent 5 years in Serie A, all at Udinese. He returns to Spain, having played for Valencia between 2014 and 2016.
