Atalanta working on Lammers-Nandez swap with Cagliari; their offer for Thorsby has been rejected

Atalanta and Cagliari are working on a swap of loans between Sam Lammers and Nahitan Nández. The clubs started discussing the idea on Saturday morning and are looking at a deal while also trying to convince the players.

Lammers has been sought by Genoa and Verona this transfer window, now Cagliari are the latest suitors.

The clubs are working on including Nahitan Nández, who had been close to Inter in recent weeks, but due to difficulties with the nerazzurri the deal was not closed.

Atalanta offered €7 million for Morten Thorsby, but Sampdoria rejected the offer, seeking a higher fee.

Atalanta could next launch a new bid, otherwise they could try to target Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
