Atalanta, Percassi-Gasperini meeting for the future

The season has ended with a historic qualification to the Champions League, capping off a great three seasons with Gasperini on the bench. The intention of Atalanta is to continue next season with the ex-Genoa manager. In fact, there was an important meeting between Gasperini and Percassi today, and the president said confidently at the end of it: "I saw Gasperini, I am optimistic, we'll see each other again tomorrow for a coffee," these were the words given to a reporter present.

There is optimism over a possible future together and the coach could decide to continue his path in Bergamo, even playing in the Champions League next year. Roma, who have put Gasperini at the top of their list for next  season, therefore risks not being able to achieve their main goal. For this reason, Giampaolo could have a good chance if other possibilities don't appear, such as Gattuso, who left Milan today.
