Atalanta-Laxalt, possible issue over wages: the latest

Diego Laxalt will meet with his representatives in the coming hours to discuss the contract proposal submitted by Atalanta. Between Milan and Atalanta there is a deal reached for a paid loan (€2m), with a €13m option to buy. If Laxalt is to approve he will have to accept lower wages than he currently makes at Milan (€1.6m net of taxes).

Atalanta's offer is below that amount, as Laxalt will have to make up his mind whether to accept or return with a new request. The offer must satisfy the player, with considerations to his purchase option potentially being exercized at year's end.
