Atalanta, Caldara: "Juventus? I'm flattered by their interest"
In just two months Mattia Caldara has become starting centre-back for Atalanta, has been called up for Italy's national team stage and has attracted interest from Juventus. There is a reason for Caldara's success is that the lad is a very serious, well mannered, intelligent and cultured person.
Here is what he had to say about Juve's interest: "It's very flattering to hear of their interest but it is all thanks to Atalanta and Gasperini who believed in me. I hope to make further steps forward but at the moment I've only played a few games in the Serie A. Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini are great examples for youngesters. I think they're the best defenders alive, personally I try to be like them. I love their mentality, always trying to win more and improve".
