Allegri: "I would like to manage in the Premier League."
During an interview with the Times, Massimiliano Allegri spoke on his interest to one day coach in the Premier League.
"In Italy, I was at Milan for four years and with Juve for another five. I still see Serie A in my future, but it's difficult, or in England. I would like to try the Premier League. The English league, in my opinion, is in great growth because there are many foreign managers. It's more tactical and sophisticated with respect to 10 years ago, but still has the English spirit. There's a good balance between tradition and the tactical approach of the new managers. The important thing is that every country has its own history that is always difficult to change. England is different from Italy, from Spain or from Germany."
"Liverpool is improving every year, with physical, fast and technically strong players. To win trophies, you must have character, technique, tactics and physicality and they have all these qualities. They have the right mentality."
"I trained many great players and with a great personality. From defenders like Chiellini and Nesta to midfielders and attackers like Seedorf, Gattuso or Ibrahimovic. Ronaldo has a top mentality and thinks of it differently than all the others. He won a lot and every year sets a new objective. That makes the difference."
